New Release of ODB

Rich Cowan says that he is getting closer to completing the Release 1.0 of Organizers' Database (ODB), an organizing database that works well for smaller groups. It uses the MS Access database engine. It's free to download, has a track record and it seems to be becoming open source.

ODB has always been GPL'd (and thus Open Source) -- projected launch date for ODB 1.0 is November 17, so keep your ears open if this is something you've been waiting to see.
Just to let you all know, the source code to 0.88 thru 0.96 is now available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/organizersdb
At this time, we are projecting a release candidate for just the main part of ODB of January 1, 2006. Since there is some testing and documentation work that is needed the official launch date will be February 15, 2006, which is a firm date because we issued a press release! see: http://oc-tech.org/odb-blog -rich cowan, ODB project
